Our civil engineering and groundworks division have extensive experience in substructures, drainage and external works. With our directly employeed workforce and owned plant fleet, we can offer fast commencement of projects.
Our Building Division have successfully completed numerous projects including steel frames, concrete frames, timber frames together with traditional brick and block construction. Our portfolio includes Care Homes, Garden Centres and Warehouses.
Natta has completed many housing developments both as contractor and as developer. These range from large single properties to sites of up to 50 units. We have utilised traditional build, timber and concrete frames as forms of construction.
Multi-Utility Installation
Our Utility Division carries out a wide range of Utility Installations within the contestable works industry and is primarily focused on the construction and commissioning of new infrastructure for new development sites.
Natta Steel specialises in the fabrication, design, supply and installation of all things steel including steel frames, railings, gates, staircases, sheet metal work and bespoke projects for commercial, industrial and residential projects.
A division within Natta, the team links together pre-construction knowledge, advice and delivery together with innovative solutions for challenging ground conditions. The services are available individually or part of an overall package.
Natta Plant is one of the largest privately owned plant fleets in the South of England. The fleet has a range of earth moving, recycling and lifting machines. It services the Natta Group and is also hired out to external clients.
CISTC, a CITB Approved Training Organisation (ATO), specialise in health and safety training for the construction industry. Based in Surrey, courses offered include CITB Site Safety, CPCS, EUSR, NPORS, Health & Safety and NRSWA courses.
The Group's aim is to provide its members with access to training grants, information, useful links, up-to-date industry news and to provide comprehensive advice on training to up-skill their workforce within Surrey and West Sussex
Our Capability
Natta is experienced in operating as a turnkey and main contractor, which has increased management skills and knowledge, benefiting our other operations in sub-contractor work.
As a Principal Contractor, we specialise in civil engineering projects comprising section 278 and 38 infrastructure roads, sewers and services, together with high-quality external works packages. We also undertake full design and build packages with experience in various build styles including steel frames, reinforced concrete frames, basements and traditional brick/blockwork. Bespoke projects, such as care homes, garden centres and multi-utility installations complete our wide-ranging portfolio of works.
Natta undertakes all the traditional disciplines of a groundwork contractor. Historically specialists in infrastructure installation, Natta has undertaken more challenging contracts from contaminated land remediation to Japanese knotweed removal together with projects with strong environmental or conservational elements. Our in-house specialist geo-environmental team can tackle complex groundworks in poor conditions, as well as, design, manage and deliver lime and cement stabilisation. This enables us to offer greater flexibility and cost benefits to our clients.
We also carry out concrete works from waterproof basements to podium slabs, RC frames and external concrete paving.
We have a wide range of experience working on high-value Central London sites with restricted access, requiring careful on-site management of deliveries and protection of the public. We have a broad range of clientele from blue-chip companies to private individuals with projects ranging from £300,000 to £25,000,000. We are approved by The Highways Agency, Local Authorities and Water Authorities, including Thames, Southern, Anglian and Wessex Water.
All our projects are treated with the same level of professionalism, honesty and enthusiasm.
How we do it
We believe our customers turn to us for our ability to combine our technical expertise with our local knowledge, and our ability to integrate all stakeholders as well as the supply chain, enabling us to manage the complex needs of our clients.
We have in house design capabilities with £10m PI Cover and we can offer full management of a site from pre-commencement to sectional handover including the provision of welfare facilities and boundary protection.
We have invested in an in-house CCTV crew to carry out pre and post-installation surveys.
Natta has a large, directly employed skilled workforce that is 100% CSCS accredited. We reduce reliance on sub-contractors, providing greater control of safe systems, programme, lead times and budgets.
Natta is a traditional company who have continually invested in our employees, training, and modern construction techniques. We employ surveying and engineering graduates direct from university and are an approved trainer for both RICS and ICE.
Our fleet of small and heavy plant is up-to-date and continuously renewed. We stay at the forefront of modern construction equipment; we are the largest UK user of Trimble Earthworks systems; we buy the latest engineering and laser-guided concrete equipment.
Where required Natta reviews the work of the design team with a view to value engineering. Early involvement including pre-start site investigation can lead to cost-effective solutions and increasingly Natta are being asked to facilitate the site set-up. Covered by PI Insurance; our designers have input on every project.

Whilst new challenges keep Natta at the forefront, many of our contracts are awarded as a result of a previous project being successfully completed to a very high standard and to the satisfaction of the client. 82% of our work is repeat business.
