Health & Safety

Natta’s proudest achievement is its first-class safety record. Up until June 2023, Natta had worked over 6,200,000 man-hours RIDDOR accident-free. Our organisation prides itself on Safety First – People First. It is a member of RoSPA and the staff team, from the top down, works to ensure everyone goes home safe, every day. This maxim applies to both physical safety and personal wellbeing.

Accredited by Achilles, CHAS, CHSG and a  SMAS Worksafe Contractor demonstrates that we have the appropriate level of competence in our H&S management systems. Site managers are all SMSTS or SSSTS. Using a training matrix, we constantly roll out training courses and are currently up-to-date with First Aid At Work. 80% of our workforce including all our site-based employees are inducted into a Behavioural Safety Course. As part of our staff’s personal development, they also attend courses including leadership, personal growth and health and wellbeing, including first aid and mental health courses.

In 2017, the Natta Group built a new award-winning training centre. Based at our Head Office complex, it is our first zero-carbon build. Our training business, Construction Industry Safety Training Centre (CISTC) facilitates the training and upskilling of our workforce and delivers training to the construction industry. Our business has set an industry-standard framework for safety which has set a benchmark for best practice.
