Health & Safety
Natta has a first-class safety record; at July 2019, 3,000,000 man-hours had been worked incident-free. Our organisation prides itself on Safety First – People First, it embraces the ‘Get it Right initiative’, is a member of RoSPA and the staff team, from the top down, works to ensure everyone goes home safe, every day. This maxim applies to both physical safety and personal well-being.
We are continuously evolving our safety culture to encompass wider wellbeing in our workforce by carrying out yearly health checks, holding company wellbeing days and providing insurance and mentoring.
Accredited by Achilles, CHAS, CHSG and a SMAS Worksafe Contractor demonstrates that we have the appropriate level of competence in our H&S management systems. Site managers are all SMSTS or SSSTS. We constantly roll out training courses and are currently are up-to-date with First Aid At Work.
In 2004 the Group constructed a purpose-built training centre and created the Construction Industry Safety Training Centre (CISTC). The centre facilitates the training and upskilling of the construction industry’s workforce and has set an industry-standard framework for safety which has set a benchmark for best practice.
