OVERVIEW

Natta has been appointed by Legal & General as the Design and Build Contractor for the new Mowbray Community Centre at North Horsham. The new community hub will provide a focal point for residents within the growing North Horsham development, delivering high- quality recreational, educational and social facilities. Drawing on our extensive experience in both civil engineering and building construction, Natta is responsible for managing the project from design development through to construction, commissioning and handover, ensuring the facility is delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest standards of quality.

SCOPE OF WORKS

The project comprises the design and construction of a new-build community facility designed to support a wide range of recreational and social activities. The building includes a main sports hall with associated changing facilities, a secondary multi-purpose hall, library space, social breakout areas, kitchen facilities and administrative offices.

Construction is being undertaken using a steel-framed structure with a combination of masonry and weatherboard façades. Dakota brickwork forms the primary external finish, complemented by fibre- reinforced cement weatherboarding to the entrance gables and dormer roof elements, creating a contemporary yet sympathetic architectural appearance.

Works also include all associated mechanical and electrical services, external works, landscaping, access routes and infrastructure connections, delivering a fully integrated community facility that will serve residents for many years to come.
