OVERVIEW

Natta successfully completed the Copthorne Allotments project, working as the Main Contractor for St Modwen. The scheme delivers a new community-focused open space, forming part of the wider development and providing high-quality outdoor facilities for local residents. The project was designed to create a welcoming, accessible environment that encourages community use while enhancing the surrounding landscapes.

SCOPE OF WORKS

The development includes a range of new facilities, comprising allotments, a Neighbourhood Equipped Area for Play (NEAP), footpaths, a newly constructed access road and a carefully selected range a selection of street furniture. Each of these elements was carefully integrated to create a functional and inviting public space that supports a variety of uses.

The landscaping works incorporated a diverse mix of trees, shrubs, grasses and woodland planting, enhancing biodiversity and the ecological value of the site. This approach created an attractive green environment for residents and visitors, supports local wildlife, and contributes to the long-term sustainability and character of the development.

Overall, the completed Copthorne Allotments project represents a valuable and lasting addition to the local community. It provides new recreational opportunities and high-quality green spaces, all delivered within a thoughtfully designed and well-integrated setting. The project was a rewarding scheme for Natta to deliver and clearly reflects our experience, expertise, and commitment to constructing successful community-focused and public realm developments.
