b'We are thrilled to be a winner of the Wates Group Southern Home Counties Supply Chain Awards 2020!This award was given for our Burnham Grammar School project in Slough where Natta is currently undertaking the Civil Engineering and Groundworks for Wates Group. Natta went above and beyond to ensure that the necessary safety procedures were put in place throughout lockdown. This enabled all site operations to continue safely whilst adhering to Government guidelines and social distancing rules. Natta Contracts Manager, Kevin Matthews, commented: The Natta Site team successfully mobilised and implemented COVID secure working practises to ensure the workforce and any public interfaces were kept safe by our activities. Doing so, allowed the team to continue to deliver our package of works to the high standard expected by our clients.Well done to all of the project team who have assisted in receiving this award! It has been a very quiet year here at Natta Plant with a lot of kit parked up, but after some great effort from Natta Building, we are now starting to see the majority of our plant getting out and back to work. With the commencement of jobs at Bristol, Horsham and Wrotham our utilisation is very close to 100%.For obvious reasons, 2020 was a slow year for new acquisitions however, we are currently pricing some new plant and I hope to have some exciting news in the first quarter of 2021.What we have been able to do this year is come up with new cleaner ways to store our oil barrels on site. We have designed a COSHH store which you will see being delivered to sites on our first week back to work. These bunded stores were all built in house by our experienced team and Im looking forward to getting them to sites. The stores will hold three barrels (oil, engine and Adblu) safely and will keep our sites looking cleaner whilst staying environmentally friendly.John Gormley - Natta Plant Manager'
