b'We would like to give a warm welcome to our newly appointed HSE Manager, Othuke Okah, who joined us in September. Othuke is an experienced safety professional with substantial hands-on experience in the HSE field and we are delighted to welcome him to the team. Here is the first Health and Safety update from Othuke. Although I have not been formally introduced to everyone within the business, due to these uncertain times, I have been able to meet some of the staff at Head Office and a great majority of the site staff in the course of my travels to our sites. Prior to joining Natta I have worked across the oil and gas, construction and utilities sectors and I look forward to the challenges that come with working for a great organisation such as Natta. Over the last three months I have been able to review the health and safety standards on our sites through inspections and audits. Whilst working in construction is not without its challenges, we now have the added responsibility of managing the risks presented by the COVID-19 pandemic. I am pleased to report that, from my review, Nattas performance has been encouraging. We are currently up by 1.68% on last years health and safety site performance and we look to finish the year strongly. In 2021 we shall look to further improve on our health and safety performance with greater emphasis on behavioural safety and compliance with Nattas procedures. In the first quarter of 2021, Natta shall be seeking to recertify our integrated management systems under the ISO standards (ISO 9001, ISO14001 and ISO 45001) and we shall continually improve our systems to meet these standards. We shall also be audited by Achilles in the first quarter of 2021 and preparation for this audit has already kicked off. Finally I would like to say, although 2020 has been a very challenging year for everyone, Natta has weathered the storm to ensure health and safety standards have been maintained at all times on our sites. We shall look to collectively improve our performance as we head into 2021 with the mindset if we cant work safely we dont work at all. Othuke Okah - HSE ManagerNatta recently made a donation to Wates Group for their local food bank collection. Our contribution and Wates Group food collection were combined and donated to two local charities - Slough Food Bank and Slough Outreach.Natta is currently working with Wates Group, as Sub Contractor, on their Burnham Grammar School project in Slough.'
