OVERVIEW

Natta was appointed to undertake the construction of a new 70-bed Residential Care Home for Care UK, located in Angmering, West Sussex. The project was delivered as a full design and build package, which meant that Natta was responsible for the main construction works, and the incorporation of all associated external works, drainage and services required to support the facility and its future operations.

SCOPE OF WORKS

The care home building was constructed on a split-level arrangement, which added additional complexity in terms of access management and site logistics. Despite these challenges, the team successfully delivered the project on time and to a high standard through detailed planning and coordination. In addition, as part of the wider development works, Natta also constructed a new access road to serve the site. This provided an important infrastructure upgrade, which significantly improved overall connectivity.

Now fully complete, the residential care home offers a wide range of modern amenities, including its own coffee shop, hair salon, cinema, bar, as well as lovely landscaped gardens. The home delivers a full range of care services for elderly people, ranging from short-term and permanent residential and dementia care, as well as sensitive and truly personalised end-of-life care. The design of the building supports both staff efficiency and resident wellbeing through thoughtful layouts and quality finishes.

In conclusion, this project highlights Natta’s expertise in delivering complex, high-quality residential care facilities and demonstrates our ability to meet programme requirements while prioritising safety, operational needs, and the wellbeing of future residents.
