KLON3, Kao Park Data Centre Campus

This data centre groundworks project marks the second data centre that Natta has delivered on this high-security campus in partnership with JCA. It follows our successful delivery of the Klon 2 Data Centre. Early contractor involvement played a crucial role in the project’s early stages, allowing the construction programme to be accelerated while enabling effective value engineering solutions.

The project includes the construction of access roads and car parks designed to support safe, efficient movement for both vehicles and pedestrians across the site. Key elements of the programme also include extensive drainage and infrastructure works, along with the coordination and installation of all incoming services.

Natta’s scope of works includes full site clearance to prepare the area for construction. This will also be followed by the installation of pile mats and the provision of piling attendance to support the deep foundation requirements. Additionally, foundation work encompasses RC electric pits and underground services corridors, both critical for supporting the complex M&E infrastructure typical of data centre environments. Following foundation activities, we carried out ground and mezzanine floor concreting to tight tolerances.

In addition, Natta is completing all drainage and service ducting installations, forming a comprehensive underground network. Works also include the construction of concrete surrounds, along with the formation of car parking facilities.

This project highlights Natta’s specialist capabilities in delivering technically complex, high specification infrastructure projects. Consequently, our involvement in the early stages has helped ensure efficient sequencing, risk management and timely project delivery. Furthermore, this early engagement strengthened collaboration and supported smoother delivery.
