OVERVIEW

Natta was appointed as subcontractor by Crest Nicholson to deliver the groundworks and infrastructure for a residential development, Arborfield Green, of 110 houses at the former MOD Base at Arborfield. The project formed part of the wider redevelopment of the site, transforming the former military land into a new residential community.

SCOPE OF WORKS

Working as the housing groundworks contractor, our scope of work included the full build to DPC, incorporating CFA piled foundations, substructure blockwork and block and beam ground floors. We also issued collateral warranties to the developer.

The project was delivered under an aggressive build programme, requiring a workforce of approximately 50 operatives working across several areas of the site simultaneously to maintain progress and meet programme requirements.

As part of our extended remit, Natta also acted as the main contractor until the developer was able to take over the role, ensuring the project continued to progress safely and efficiently during the early stages of the development.

Overall, this project highlights Natta’s capability in delivering large-scale residential groundworks and infrastructure, supporting fast-paced housing developments through coordinated planning, technical expertise and effective site management.
