OVERVIEW

Working as the residential infrastructure contractor, Natta was appointed as subcontractor for Redrow Homes (Eastern) at Westley Green to deliver the infrastructure upgrade of an existing country road, together with the construction of the main first section of spine road, incorporating attenuation tanks. These works formed part of a larger development that ultimately delivered 725 new homes and a new school.

In addition to the infrastructure works, Natta also undertook the groundworks for the first five residential units, supporting the early phases of the development and enabling the progression of the wider construction programme.

SCOPE OF WORKS

The scope of works included the installation of approximately 800 metres of foul and storm main drainage, together with the reconstruction and widening of the existing Dry Street access road. These works were carried out while maintaining access to the main construction site, requiring careful planning and coordination to ensure safe and efficient operations.

Further works included the delivery of on-site infrastructure and associated groundworks for the initial phase of the development, ensuring the site was fully prepared for future residential construction. Through careful sequencing and coordination, Natta supported the efficient rollout of the wider scheme while maintaining operational access and programme continuity.

Overall, the project demonstrated Natta’s capability as a residential infrastructure contractor, delivering essential enabling works and infrastructure upgrades that supported the successful early stages of a large-scale housing development.
