OVERVIEW

Following the successful completion of our previous project in Enderby, Natta were also awarded a subsequent contract by Statera Energy for the construction of a new battery storage facility in Melksham. This facility forms part of the UK’s growing energy infrastructure

SCOPE OF WORKS

Natta’s scope involved extensive bulk earthworks to level the site and create suitable development platforms, together with the construction of access roads to ensure vehicle movement and delivery were safely and efficiently managed. Drainage systems were installed to ensure surface water management and compliance with environmental standards. A key part of the works also included the installation of service trenching and ducting, enabling the future connection and integration of electrical systems. Additionally, Natta constructed all concrete bases and mounting infrastructure. This included container bases, substation plinths, as well as distribution board bases and ancillary station bases.

Due to the nature of the battery storage installation, the programme was driven by strict delivery dates for specialist electrical and storage equipment. Natta worked to a tightly controlled timetable, ensuring all enabling works were completed on schedule. Our ability to meet these technical and programme requirements reflects our commitment to delivering complete, time-sensitive projects to the highest standard. This reinforces our proven capability to deliver high-quality infrastructure projects within the renewable energy sector.
