OVERVIEW

Natta was appointed as the subcontractor to undertake the civil engineering works on behalf of our client, Skanska. This project involved the groundworks for the provision of multiple new buildings designed to deliver amalgamated training facilities, bringing together operations from three previous bases into a single coordinated location. The scheme formed an important part of a wider training facility construction programme aimed at modernising and consolidating training operations within purpose-built infrastructure.

By integrating several training functions into one location, the scheme was designed to improve operational efficiency while providing modern facilities capable of supporting evolving training requirements.

SCOPE OF WORKS

Our remit included carrying out foundations up to and including structural ground floors, drainage installations, extensive retaining walls comprising both sheet-piled and reinforced concrete construction, together with drainage and hard landscaping works.

The project required multiple teams working simultaneously across up to eight different areas, all while maintaining the continued operation of the existing base. Careful planning, coordination, and site management were essential to ensure safe working practices and efficient delivery within a live operational environment.

Overall, the project demonstrates Natta’s experience in delivering training facility groundworks, including dealing with complex infrastructure, while also maintaining operational continuity and achieving high standards of construction quality.
