Whitstable Heights – Supported Living Scheme
Natta has secured a new contract with Graham Care, marking our largest care home contract win to date. Acting as Main Contractor, we will deliver the design and construction of Whitstable Heights in Kent, a new three-storey, 133-suite supported living scheme, and the largest care home Natta has ever built.
The development will provide supported living accommodation, alongside a range of communal and well-being facilities. These spaces are designed to support the comfort and well-being of future residents, whilst creating a modern, purpose-built care environment.
Natta is responsible for the design and construction of the 133-suite development, together with associated civil engineering and infrastructure works required across the site.
The scheme will provide a range of communal facilities for residents and visitors. At ground-floor level, a welcoming café and arrival space will create a central social hub. In addition, a dedicated hydrotherapy suite will further enhance the care and wellness facilities available within the development.
Our civil engineering and infrastructure package includes sheet and CFA piling operations, retaining walls, a basement with a pool, foundations, and concrete frame. Furthermore, Natta will also deliver the incoming services and drainage infrastructure. The building is clad with a mixture of brick, glass, curtain walling, rockspace and render. Internally, a high standard of M&E and finishes will produce an adaptable and attentive living space for the residents.
Overall, the Whitstable Heights project reflects Natta’s continued experience in delivering complex care developments and associated infrastructure. As our third care home project for Graham Care and our largest care home contract to date, the supported living scheme represents another significant project within our growing care sector portfolio.
