OVERVIEW

Our Contract was the full design and build of a new six-bed hospice in Basildon.

SCOPE OF WORKS

The hospice was designed as a hub for the care of local people and their families with life limiting conditions.

The new building contains a range of on site services as well as the ability to support in-home care for the local community.

Now completed, the building has six care bedrooms, relative rooms, quiet rooms, break out rooms and connecting gardens. It also includes on-site kitchens, a pharmacy, a shop, a café, an education centre, an office, staff facilities and specialist rooms.

All of the building and its surroundings were designed to provide a calm environment with full medical facilities to make the experience for guests and staff as pleasant as possible.

Great attention to detail was required by the build team to meet the specifications and to coordinate with specialist traders and suppliers. The end product is a beautiful building with a great purpose. DOWNLOAD CASE STUDY
