OVERVIEW

Following the successful completion of our previous project in Enderby, Natta was awarded another contract by Statera Energy. The work involved the construction of a new battery storage facility in Melksham. As a result, we have contributed to the UK’s growing energy infrastructure industry.

SCOPE OF WORKS

Natta’s scope on this project involved extensive bulk earthworks to level the site and create suitable development platforms. Subsequently, the team constructed access roads to ensure vehicle movement and delivery could be safely and efficiently managed. Drainage systems were installed to provide effective surface water management and compliance with environmental standards. Furthermore, a key part of the work involved installing service trenching and ducting. This enabled the future connection and integration of electrical systems across the site.

In addition, Natta constructed all concrete bases and mounting infrastructure. These included container bases, substation plinths, distribution board bases and ancillary station bases. All elements were delivered to precise tolerances to meet the technical requirements of the specialist equipment.

Due to the nature of the battery storage installation, strict delivery dates for specialist electrical and storage equipment were critical. Accordingly, Natta kept to tight deadlines to complete all enabling works efficiently.

Collectively, meeting these technical and programme requirements highlights our commitment to delivering complex, time-sensitive projects to a high standard. The successful completion of this scheme also demonstrates Natta’s ability to manage demanding technical, logistical, and programme-critical requirements. Overall, this reinforces our proven capability to deliver high-quality infrastructure projects within the renewable energy sector.
