OVERVIEW

Natta were awarded the contract by Wates Group to undertake the groundworks for a new Data Centre development at Ajax Avenue in Slough.

SCOPE OF WORKS

The works on this fast-track package included earthworks, substructures, drainage and external works.

The project was split into three distinct data halls and requires us to work closely with preceding and following trades to ensure all works are integrated.

A large amount of service trenching and ducting were involved which will have a considerable impact on logistics and interfaces with drainage and external works. As well as this, the foundations on site were deep and large mass concrete bases required considerable care in their construction.
