b'Page 6Breaking Ground at Maldon Crematorium Natta is pleased to announce that we have secured a new contract to undertake the civils elements atMaldon Crematorium in Essex. Elegy and Maldon Fields have appointed Natta as the main contractor. Our scope of work for the project will include three stages. The New Section 278 Junction into the site from Maldon Road. This work involves widening the existing road, drainage and street lighting adaptions. The second stage involves the on-siteaccess road, car parks, earthworks and drainage. The foundations and external hard landscaping around the new Crematorium Building. To mark the start of work on site, a breaking ground ceremony took place on Friday 12th January. A breaking ground ceremony is a gathering to celebrate the commencement of a construction project. Typically, people use a ceremonial shovel to break the ground physically. Matt Sainty, Natta Commercial Director commented: We were delighted to commence this project and commemorate breaking ground with Elegy today. It was a pleasure to celebrate this first milestone.
