b'Page 8 Charity News55,076 RAISED IN 2023SO FARThe National Three Peaks Challenge A huge congratulations to Team Natta who took part in the National Three Peaks Challenge to and raised a much needed 6,999 (+766.25 gift aid) for The Rainbow Childrens Charity back in July.The challenge involved our team climbing the three highest peaks of Scotland, England and Wales, within 24 hours. The total ascent is 3064 metres and the walking distance is 23 miles. What an amazing achievement, thank you to everyone who kindly donated and supported the team in their journey.The Rainbow Trust Childrens Charity enables families who have a child with a life-threatening Natta Annual Charity Golf DayIn July, Natta hosted its annual Golf Day at Sherfield Oaks Golf Club. A big thank you to all the sponsors and players for their generosity. A total of 28,500 was raised for our three nominated charities - The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity, Rainbow Childrens Trust Charity and Woking & Sam Beare Hospice. The money has been equally split, giving 9,500 to each deserving charity.To top the day off we auctioned prizes and held a raffle. overall making it a very successful day. Theweather was glorious, and everyone had a great time. Woking & Sam Beare Hospices care for patients with life-limiting terminal illnesses and their families.Rainbow Trust Childrens Charity helps families make the most of their time left with their child who has a life-threatening illness. The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity ensures that their nurses, doctors and research teams can provide the very best care for cancer patients in their hospitals in Sutton and Fulham.'
