OVERVIEW

Natta has been appointed as Main Contractor for the construction of a new care home facility in Woodford Green by our client, Morrison Community Care Group. This project comprises the delivery of a three-storey, 120-bed care facility, designed to provide modern accommodation and specialist care with a purpose-built environment. The development includes a reinforced concrete retained basement, adding complexity to the construction with careful planning, temporary works, and structural sequencing.

SCOPE OF WORKS

Natta’s scope of works includes the demolition of existing buildings on site, followed by the construction of new foundations, the retained basement structure, and the superstructure above. The basement design integrates with the overall building layout and has been developed to suit the ground conditions.

As part of the wider infrastructure works, we are also delivering a new car park ramp to provide safe and efficient vehicle access, together with associated site infrastructure to support the care home operations.

Once complete, the care home will offer a range of facilities designed to support both resident well-being and day-to-day operations. These include private gardens, balcony terraces, and a selection of communal internal spaces such as a cinema, hair and beauty salon, and visitors’ cafe. Therefore, creating a supportive community environment. The building’s design helps with both staff efficiency and resident well-being through thoughtful layouts and high-quality finishes.

Overall, the Woodford Green Care Home Facility demonstrates Natta’s experience in delivering complex, high-quality care facilities. It highlights our ability to meet programme requirements while prioritising safety, operational needs, and the well-being of the future residents.
