OVERVIEW

Natta delivered a specialist groundworks package as part of the expansion of the BMW Mini Plant. Our works supported a new building extension and associated infrastructure upgrades designed to boost production capacity and site efficiency.

SCOPE OF WORKS

Natta delivered the full groundworks package for a new building extension within the BMW Mini Plant complex. This involved the installation of heavy-duty foundation pads and drainage systems designed to meet the rigorous specifications of an advanced manufacturing facility.

Our scope also included the formation of external concrete slabs and the construction of retaining walls, as well as the completion of all external finishes to ensure the extension was seamlessly integrated into the existing plant layout.

In addition to the main extension works, we were awarded a further package to facilitate the expansion of the site’s parking infrastructure. This involved the diversion of an existing water main, which had to be rerouted to enable the construction of a new car park. These works required detailed planning and coordination with the client and utility providers to minimise disruption to ongoing plant operations.

Throughout this live environment project, Natta’s teams continued to demonstrate their expertise in working to tight tolerances, adapting to site constraints, and maintaining clear communication with all stakeholders.
