Natta’s Love Award Winners for March 2021

Natta is pleased to announce the LOVE Award (‘Live Our Values Everyday’) Winners for March 2021.

The award for Expertise went to James Hibberd and Othuke Okah. James was nominated for his ability to ensure deliveries to site despite last-minute requests and issues with delivery times.

Although Othuke hasn’t been with the company long, he has recently battled through numerous audits and has successfully renewed a huge amount of our accreditations in the last month, without assistance. His colleague commented: “Othuke has carried all of these tasks out on time and with a smile on his face, despite the immense pressure. Brilliant work!”

Carole Gamroth received the award for Integrity. Despite many difficult challenges and a high volume of work over the last year, Carole has always delivered and met deadlines with quality work.

Charlotte Hamer took the award for both Quality and Collaboration. Her colleague said: “Charlotte has offered me great training as a newcomer. She continues to offer support for daily processes and is ready to help at any time.”

Also receiving the award for Quality was Iona Huckle and Dragos Valentin Costin. Iona was nominated for her excellent communication skills in fielding calls and keeping on top of a busy reception desk.

Meanwhile, Dragos always looks after the machines he drives, making sure they are greased and any issues rectified. His colleague commented: “Dragos is a great asset to site and Natta – Keep up the good work!”

The Innovation award was given to Luke Dove and Huw Rees. Luke discovered an old haul road through a protected tree area that would aid access to a tight site. This has saved the company time and money on logistics and import. The access road will now be utilised for the duration of Phase 1 of the project.

Huw was nominated for his contribution to the methods and use of materials in achieving technical advantage. This was evident in the R&D successes over the year.

Mark Watkins also received the award for Innovation as well as Teamwork. One colleague commented: “Not only is Mark always suggesting good and innovative storage ideas, he is really helpful in general. He helps when our gatemen are under pressure, he tidies up, helps with our young operatives, looks after our skips and even works after hours when surprise deliveries turn up.”

Also receiving the Teamwork award was Dominic Davison. Dominic has recently given some fantastic feedback from site which the commercial team will be able to use to better price work in the future.
