Natta Wellness Week 2025

On 15th September to 19th September, we hosted our annual Wellness Week 2025. A variety of activities were run over the course of the week to help improve our physical and mental wellbeing. Each day had a theme, accompanied by relevant information, including suggested podcasts and book recommendations, which were sent out via email and posted on our company intranet.

Once again, the money raised was donated to our mental health charity partner, the Lighthouse Club Charity. They provide outstanding financial, emotional, and physical support to construction workers and their families. Across the week, we raised a fantastic total of £1,000.

Head Office Vs Site Step Up Challenge

This year, we ran a Step-Up Challenge, and our head office employees competed against our site teams to walk the most steps across the week. Together, we racked up a staggering 1,590,475 steps over the course of the week.

Well done to our winning team, Head Office, for beating the Site Team. It was a great way to encourage people away from their desks and create friendly competition between everyone. Natta donated for every 10,000 steps logged to the Lighthouse Club Charity.

Recharge Monday

To kick off the week, fruit baskets were sent out to our sites and put in the head office kitchens! Health Shield returned to conduct comprehensive health checks for our staff, including BMI, cholesterol, and glucose levels. These confidential health screenings provided valuable insights into our wellbeing.

Throughout the week, guides by Elrina Pretorius from Healthspan Wellness were circulated.  Monday’s guide focused on the science of sleep and how it impacts mood and immunity. We also handed out ginger and turmeric immunity shots to help boost everyone’s productivity and energy levels.

Nourishment Tuesday

On Tuesday, kombucha immunity shots were put in the kitchens, and Elrina Pretorius’ guide on how nutrition fuels energy, focus, and long-term health was circulated. Alternative drinks and snacks were added to the canteen vending machine to encourage healthier snacking.

Movement Wednesday

Wednesday’s focus was physical well-being. We welcomed Lorraine Jackson, a retired three-time World Title bodybuilder, to run a circuit training session. Everyone truly appreciated her knowledge and expertise. The session left the team feeling motivated and energised.

Mindful Thursday

Hannah King, our Commercial Assistant, led a guided Mindful Yoga session. This provided the perfect blend of movement and mindfulness to enhance awareness and wellbeing. After work, we organised a football match on the on-site 4G football pitch, giving staff a chance to stretch out after a day at their desks.

Wellness Week 2025 Finale – Community Friday

To complete the week, we held a Natta Breakfast Club to give everyone the chance to start the day with a delicious, healthy treat. This was followed by a team-building activity where four teams competed in a timed flat pack building competition.

Lastly, we hosted a prize-giving ceremony for all our winners. Congratulations to Ionela Tinjala for winning Boules, and our dodgeball winners, Chris Te Mete, Matt Wyles and Jordan Beech. Our Table Tennis winner was Jordan Beech, and well done to James Hibberd, Antonio Giani, Georgiana Mosanu and David Miller for coming out victorious in the flat pack building challenge. Thank you to everyone who took part and generously donated.

Natta Wellness Week 2025

We could not have done it without our Wellness Team! Thank you for organising a fun-filled and successful week. We hope you felt the positive impact on your wellbeing, whether you joined the sports events, took part in the wellness sessions, or simply enjoyed the healthy snacks. We look forward to next year!
