Natta’s Solar PV / Battery Storage System for our Welfare Cabins

Natta is advancing our commitment to sustainability with our newest Go Green initiative! We’ve developed an in-house Solar PV/Battery storage system for our welfare cabins, tapping into solar energy to cut our dependence on fossil fuels and generators each year.

This system is now operational at our Wintringham project in St. Neots, where we are working as the Main Contractor for Urban and Civic plc.

Since its implementation, we’ve slashed daily diesel and generator usage by 70%. With a dedicated app, we can monitor the system’s performance in real time and accurately gauge its output. We’re targeting the set-up and activation of our larger off-grid projects by the close of 2024.

A Solar PV battery system combines solar panels with energy storage batteries to harness sunlight and deliver dependable electricity. These systems convert light directly into power, offering a sustainable and effective solution for Natta’s energy needs.
