Natta are proud to launch a new initiative to reward our employees for their dedication to following one or more of Natta’s core values.
The LOVE (Live Our Values Everyday) Awards were masterminded by one of our Senior Estimators, Karl Shepherd. He submitted this suggestion to our Senior Management Team about how Natta could acknowledge and reward our staff for their on-going commitment to following Natta’s core values:-
Safety, Expertise, Integrity, Quality, Innovation, Teamwork, Collaboration and Sustainability
How it Works
Employees who stand out for their adherence to one or more of Natta’s core values are nominated by their colleagues at head office or on site each month. Their nomination includes a reason as to why they should be given recognition.
On the last Friday of every month, the winner or winners are chosen by Natta’s Senior Management Team and announced. The winners receive their awards and gifts shortly after. All winners will be entered for a prize draw at the end of the year for a chance to win some amazing prizes such as: a 2-night stay at a luxury hotel, a Tandem Skydive, and a VIP Helicopter Tour, to name a few.
March LOVE Award Winners
We are delighted to announce Natta’s winners for the first month’s awards! We have eight winners who have shown great effort in working to and following our values:
From left to right: Magnus Alestrand (Expertise), Angela Gardner (Collaboration), Beema Sharma (Safety) and Karl Shepherd (Innovation) being presented with their LOVE Awards by Matt Sainty (Commercial Director)
Magnus Alestrand has shown Expertise. His knowledge of all things electrical and mechanical is a great benefit to Natta; his work continues to highlight Natta’s professionalism.
The Collaboration award went to Angela Gardner; she sourced and contacted CISTC clients, making introductions to the Surrey Training Group. Angela also gave her time and ideas on how the Surrey Training Group and CISTC could best work together.
Beena Sharma has shown dedication to Safety. Beena has been running a S.A.F.E. (Shaping Accident Free Environments) course at Natta both internally and externally. The course promotes mutual trust within the business. The awareness of the course has improved cooperation with management on health and safety matters.
Karl Shepherd showed his Innovation having the idea of the LOVE awards! Well done Karl for helping Natta come up with a way of recognising the commitment of our staff while helping promote Natta’s continued aim to invest in our people.
From left to right: Jon Aplin (Teamwork), Andy Mitchell (Quality), Kevin Coffee (Integrity) being presented with their LOVE Awards by Paul Magennis (Contracts Manager)
John Aplin shows great Teamwork at our Longcross project and always displays a drive to get teams to work together.
Our Quality award has gone to Andy Mitchell. During his recent works at Longcross, he has shown care and regard for nearby services plus tidiness on site that goes over and above the standard.
Kevin Coffee has shown Integrity. As an operative at our project in Longcross, he has maintained proper Traffic Management conditions when faced with difficult circumstances.
Finally, Johnny (Ionut) Dobriou, off his own back and in his own time, visited a well-known DIY store. He enquired about disposing of some surplus paint safely from our project at Ewshot Gardens. He showed his dedication to following Natta’s core value of Sustainability.
Congratulations one and all for all your efforts. Enjoy your well-deserved recognition and keep up the good work.
