Natta is pleased to announce the LOVE Award (‘Live Our ValuesEveryday’) winners for June 2017.
Lil Buckle at our Head Office won the Safety award. Lil raised the awareness of bald tyres in our company vehicles. Most notably, her first thought was for each individual’s safety. A new employee who nominated Lil commented, “It is impressive to see that there is a culture of care present; firstly about the people and then the company.”
This month the Quality award went to a team. Albert Mina, Alex Merkouri, Ilir Ntani and Izet Mazreku for all of their hard work at our Head Office in the last 18 months. Especially the new Training Facilities, Canteen and Gym. Albert and his team have helped to completely changed the look of our Head Office. This has benefitted all Natta staff. They have produced high-quality work, whilst working around the day-to-day running of the Yard and Office.
Beena Sharma won the Innovation award for the organisation of Natta’s Wellness Day. The day was a great success! All employees benefitted in the wellness activities, which included: exercise activities, a healthy lunch, and numerous wellbeing talks. The lessons learned will increase productivity and performance and if adopted should eventually make staff more energised and motivated to accomplish work.
Daniel Barros won for his dedication to Sustainability. Daniel gave up his free time on Saturday 3rd June to lead a team for a community project at Basildon University Hospital. They redeveloped a bit of neglected land into a more welcoming space for patients and staff at the hospital. It involved a 10-hour stint of over 400m² of soft landscaping, planting, levelling the existing ground and also creating a new footpath.

He sends regular, up-to-date, tidy, well taken progress shots that adhere to Health and Safety regulations. He supplies interesting information about what we are doing on that project for our social media channels; helping in the promotion and exposure of the Natta brand and our capabilities.”
