£60,000 Fundraising Milestone for Rainbow Trust Children’s Charity!

Fantastic News, Natta has raised over £60,000 for our friends at the Rainbow Trust Children’s’ Charity.

Louise Bingham from Rainbow Trust paid us a visit to help us celebrate this brilliant achievement. She commented: “Rainbow Trust are so grateful for the continued support of Natta, who have become firm friends to the charity. £60,000 is a significant amount of fundraising and means a huge amount to the charity and the families we support. Because of Natta, 2,307 hours of emotional and practical support has been given to families who have a child with a life-threatening or terminal illness in Surrey and Hampshire. On behalf of everyone, thank you, Natta.”

Natta has been supporting Rainbow Trust since 2012. This year we have donated £7,150 from our annual charity golf day. We also contribute £1 for each Observation Card that is filled in on-site and £1 for suggestion forms that are filled out and posted in our ‘Suggestion Box’ at Natta HQ. This total was reached by several of our employees taking part in events throughout the years – Tough Mudder’s, Survival of the Fittest and other physical events, plus volunteering our time at numerous bucket collections at Sainsbury’s in Farnham. So we want to say a huge thank you to them for showing team spirit and giving up their free time to help us raise this amazing amount.

Our MD, John Whelan said: “We are so proud to reach this amazing milestone and look forward to continuing our sponsorship and raising more much-needed funds for Rainbow Trust for years to come. Thank you to everyone at Natta who have helped us reach this total.

We are currently volunteering to help Rainbow Trust at Chessington Garden Centre’s Halloween Extravaganza. Donating our time last weekend and this to help fundraise at this family-friendly event by helping them run their Halloween themed stalls.

About Rainbow Trust

Family support lies at the heart of all that Rainbow Trust does.

They care for families who have a child with a life-threatening or terminal illness, providing bespoke emotional and practical support for the whole family, whenever and wherever it is needed. Today they are the only organisation that provides support directly to the whole family, helping them to keep hold of a normal life as much as possible.

Rainbow Trust has nine teams of Family Support Workers who are there to help 24 hours a day from diagnosis, through treatment and for some, through bereavement and beyond.
