OVERVIEW

Appointed as the main contractor, Natta was responsible for delivering the enabling infrastructure works for a new industrial park development for Dunmoore Group. The project created access to a new industrial park featuring a drive-thru Starbucks, a petrol station, and a range of commercial units designed to support business growth and economic activity in the area. Our work provided the essential groundworks and connectivity required to facilitate the next stages of development.

SCOPE OF WORKS

Natta’s scope of work included the construction of a new online roundabout together with a short section of new access road. This formed the primary gateway into the industrial park. A key requirement of the scheme was that the existing highway remained operational at all times. This involved detailed traffic management planning together with close coordination with relevant stakeholders to maintain public safety and minimise disruption to road users throughout the construction period.

The team carried out extensive resurfacing of the existing carriageway to improve the condition and longevity of the surrounding road network. In parallel, they installed new street lighting to enhance safety and visibility. The project also delivered new water mains, including the necessary diversions, to support both the development and the wider network.

The project involved a substantial package of below-ground infrastructure works. This included the installation of an adoptable foul drainage diversion and a stormwater attenuation tank, providing effective surface and foul water management in line with regulatory requirements. In addition, the team successfully coordinated and installed potable water main and BT service diversions to accommodate the new site layout.

Through a carefully planned and coordinated approach, Natta ensured that all elements of the works were delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. The completed infrastructure now provides a robust and future-proofed access solution, supporting the successful delivery of the wider industrial park development.
