Natta’s Love Award Winners for April 2021

Natta is pleased to announce the LOVE Award (‘Live Our Values Everyday’) Winners for April 2021.

The award for Safety went to Sezair Dautaj for delivering Toolbox Talks to operatives in a way that got the message across efficiently without lowering the quality of information given.

Valerio Simonetti took the award for Expertise for his hard work on-site at Basildon. His colleague commented: “Valerio can make decisions on the spot with little help and can be trusted to lead with any type of groundworks. He is an asset to Natta and any project manager or engineer would be happy to have him on their site.”

The Integrity award went to Annette Hills for overcoming difficult kitchen and cleaning challenges posed by COVID-19 by working hard and always delivering.

The Quality award was given to Nick Lelaj. His colleague said: “Nick is always a good example when it comes to the quality of his work and he always inspires others.”

Gazmend Dauti also took the award for Quality as well as Teamwork. Gazmend was nominated for being fast and effective on-site whilst motivating other operatives to work at their peak efficiency. He does quality work and also makes sure his workspace is tidy and safe.

The award for Teamwork also went to Ioannis Reppass and Alex Halip. Despite being pushed by many CML dates at Basildon, Ioannis has kept up communications with the After Care Team and has closed out many defects in a short period of time.

Meanwhile, Alex is a safe machine driver as well as a good finisher who doesn’t hesitate to help or teach new lads on the ground. A colleague commented: “When his gangerman was on holiday, Alex brilliantly took over managing the gang with respect to quality and deadlines, alongside great feedback to us!”

Nesa Jovanovic and Dragos Costin both took the award for Innovation. Together, Nesa and Dragos found an alternative way to fix the handle of the GNSS receivers on the Trimble machines which cost just 50p compared to the usual £50 it would cost to replace. The team on site has tested their idea which works perfectly.

Maria Lionenko was given the award for Collaboration for her exemplary communication and coordination in working out the best way of collecting outstanding monies due.

Also receiving the Collaboration award was Jamie Turner from R Collard Environmental. He was nominated by our Buying Team for going above and beyond in his efforts to get a skip delivered to our site in Aldershot, at very short notice.
