Community Engagement Project at Shipley Bridge Lane

Natta is delighted to have recently been able to offer our time and help to the residents at Shipley Bridge Lane in Copthorne.

We are currently working at Heathywood in Copthorne for our client, St Modwen Developments. Here we are delivering, as the main contractor, the infrastructure works to service a major new housing scheme with associated community amenities and commercial units. Natta understands that any construction project will affect the local community. The local residents have been immensely helpful and supportive of our works at Copthorne. So we felt it was important for us to give something back.

Over two days, one foreman and two labourers from Natta took the time to embark on this community project. In this time, we built a footpath adjacent to their driveways. The works included resurfacing the driveways and laybys and installing edgings. We also landscaped the islands on the road.

Aggregates Industries

We would like to give a huge thanks to Aggregates Industries who were a great support in this project. They provided one foreman and four labourers to lay the tarmac and assist Natta with these works.

Our Community Values

Working to support the local community and charities at the sites where we work is always high on Natta’s agenda. Where possible, we supply local labour and also utilise local materials. In line with our core values, we are keen to give back, add value and have a positive impact on the areas where we work.

It was wonderful for us to be involved in this community engagement project at Shipley Bridge Lane. We look forward to supporting more projects with our clients in the future.
