Natta’s Love Award Winners for May 2022

Natta is pleased to announce the LOVE Award (‘Live Our Values Everyday’) Winners for May 2022.

The award for Expertise was given to Steve Drake. Steve has worked hard to keep our Woking project on the program whilst the Project Manager has been needed on other sites. This exceeds his expected workload and all feedback from the client has been positive.

Darren Denton and Mark Rogers received the award for Teamwork. Between them, Darren and Mark ensured the demobilization of our project in Deepcut was completed in a single day. The demobilization of this site was not as straightforward as usual and their hard work allowed it to be completed smoothly. Their colleague said: “Their planning of the works was extremely impressive and helpful. They are a credit to the plant department.”

The Teamwork award also went to Ibrahim Al-Obaidy who is one of our newest Graduate Engineers. Ibrahim has already thrown himself into the role and is progressing extremely well. Having completed his SMSTS, he is already bringing knowledge to site and making a conscious effort to ensure his colleagues are working safely.

The Quality award was given to Surinder Singh, Eris Vuka and Artur Bushati. The gang were nominated for installing temporary works for a soakaway which looks great and was done in good time.

Desmond Hird received the Collaboration award. He has been managing multiple gangs as well as liaising with numerous utility contractors and the client to ensure that CML dates are met ahead of schedule.

Finally, the Integrity award went to Carole Gamroth. Carole’s colleague said: “I would like to nominate Carole for her hard work and dedication to getting everyone paid on time. Especially as she has been dealing with the added pressures of bank holidays.”
