OVERVIEW

Natta secured a new contract, working as the main contractor for AJ Dowsett, undertaking the full design and build of a new warehouse facility in Ashford. The development forms an important part of the client’s ongoing expansion.

SCOPE OF WORKS

As part of our work, Natta was also responsible for delivering the full design and build package, including all associated groundworks. Our comprehensive scope of works covered every key stage of the build, ensuring a coordinated and efficient delivery from the ground up.

The project began with full site preparation and groundworks, establishing a level, durable platform suitable for industrial construction. Subsequently, this was followed by the construction of the large foundations required to support the warehouse structure. In addition, Natta undertook the design and installation of the steel frame. Once erected, the team fitted the external cladding as well as window units, completing the building envelope.

Internally, we formed the ground-floor and mezzanine-level concrete slabs to provide strong, durable, and functional internal surfaces suitable for commercial use. We also delivered the full drainage installation and coordinated the installation of all underground services, ensuring the facility was fully connected and ready for operational use from day one. Externally, a fully paved car park was then constructed, along with all necessary external finishes to complete the development and provide a safe and accessible area for staff and visitors.

This project demonstrates Natta’s capability in delivering industrial and commercial facilities to a high standard, whilst also operating within a fully integrated design and build model. Our approach ensured efficiency, consistent quality and seamless coordination across all stages of the construction process.
