b'During the week of 9th March, Natta was proud to support Sport Relief! Throughout the week, a variety of fun, sport-related activities and challenges were set up for staff to take part in and do their bit for charity. This included the Tea-Break Challenge where staff had to test their aim like Harry Kane. Iona Huckle scored 6 points to take the win. We also tasked employees with guessing which piece of sporting kit was hidden inside a locker. Sport Relief revealed their answer on Friday 13th March as the Cricket Helmet making Jim Deadman our lucky winner. With the Natta Group kindly matching what our staff have donated, we have raised a total of 134.56. A big thanks to everyone who took part to raise these vital funds!Late last year, Natta was introduced to the 1st Chertsey Scout Group by our client Crest Nicholson Regeneration to see if we were able to help with the drainage connection for the new Scout headquarters that was being built. At the time, we were working as principal contractor on a project at Longcross for Crest just a few miles away. Keen to further our cause to support charities, local initiatives and communities where we work, we sent a team to embark on the project. Natta assisted by designing the foul water pumping system and installing the foul water rising main. Over 155 Natta man-hours plus materials were donated to the project. Paul Magennis, Contracts Manager commented: Natta are very proud to have been associated with the building of new headquarters of the 1st Chertsey Scout Group. Our Senior Design Engineer, Cosmin Corman also provided the drawings necessary to obtain Highways Approval of the scheme. Great work to all involved. On 26 thJanuary, Paul Magennis attended the grand opening ceremony of the 1 stChertsey Scout Groups new Headquarters. Over 100 guests were invited to celebrate. The event was also attended by High Sheriff of Surrey, Bridget Biddell, Paul Turrell and Chertsey Councillors together with Members of Scouting in Chertsey, Runnymede & Surrey.'
