Since the last newsletter went out we have purchased the following; Scania 8x4 Beavertail In the last month, we have taken delivery of our new Scania Beavertail. This lorry can carry 16.5T of Plant safely around our roads. The Beavertail also comes with a trailer, which is handy when we need to clear multiple items from sites. Our lorry meets all of the FORS Silver standards reaffirming our commitment to road safety. Hitachi ZX130-6 We have begun to see the first batch of our sixteen new Hitachi ZX130 Excavators arrive. All our new Excavators are arriving Trimble 3D ready, with Cab Guards, Ram Guards and boxing rings. The Hitachi Excavators have a sometimes frustratingly long wait time on them but we feel it’s worth the wait. Our Operators are happy and we know we can rely on the build quality of the Hitachis for maximum productivity. Maximus 409 Screener Due to the prolonged Indian summer, our ability to screen materials has continued right towards the end of the year giving us the opportunity to update our fleet. Terex TA300 Dump trucks Two 30T Dump Trucks purchased to meet demand. We will also have these trucks available for external hire if the need arises. Takeuchi TB216 Excavators Two impressive mini diggers were recently added due to their versatility. Good size cabs for Operators undertaking finishing works on our housing and infrastructure projects. Trimble Earthworks System We are now running 15 complete Trimble Earthworks 3D machines. Small Plant We have also added to our fleet: Fuel Tanks, Site Lock Boxes, Makita Drills, Jetwash Bowsers, Block Grabs, Robotic EDM’s, Shaker Buckets and COSHH Boxes. John Gormley Plant Manager Terex TA300 Dumptruck Maximus 409 Screener Stevie Dowling recently joined Natta Plant as an office assistant and among her many roles she is looking after our machine utilisation reports. By monitoring closely utilisation and driver behaviour we hope to be able to increase productivity on sites while prolonging the life span of our Plant. Stevie is also responsible for sending out our weekly Plant Returns to sites. She has quickly become an important and popular member of the team. Scania Beavertail
