Another busy year for Natta Plant. One of our goals for 2017 was to increase the amount of external hire for the business. It was our first year properly pushing external hire and we have managed to generate a significant turnover. We are planning to continue to growth through 2018. Natta Plant Ltd now has its own social media feeds: LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter. Our new website (www.nattaplant.co.uk) is also now live. It gives potential customers a portal to see what we have to offer. Big thanks to the Marketing Team for developing this to an impressive standard. A new office administrator Chelsie Craig started on the 14th of December. She's a great addition of the team. During the second half of the year we have continued to invest heavily in our fleet and have added the following to our fleet: Hitachi ZX130 Excavators x 8 Eight Hitachi ZX130-6 Excavators were added to the fleet in November. Our operators are finding the 6 Series Hitachi’s to be performing well. The series 6 machines have come away from using DPF filters and are now running with AdBlue. As AdBlue is one of the most efficient ways of keeping the NOx levels in fuel emissions to a minimum, it has an incredibly import role to play in the future of heavy plant. Four JCB 9T Dumpers We purchased four JCB 9T Dumpers back in late August and have found them to be most reliable. They were built in partnership with Terex but unfortunately the JV is coming to an end this year. Two JCB 525-60 Telehandlers The new JCB 525-60 6m Telehandler is built to offer exceptional manoeuvrability and visibility. A low height of 1.89m and width of 1.84m enables the 525-60 to access the very smallest operating environments. It also includes a large spacious cab and a tier 4 final low emissions engine. 13T Compaction Wheels Another three compaction wheels added to the fleet. The key benefit of using a compaction wheel is that the excavators own weight is used to deliver force. This provides up to five times better compaction performance when compared to a standard compaction plate or trench roller. It’s compact design is safer and more convenient as it doesn’t have a motor and hydraulic connections. This results in no snagging in the trench, while also removing the need for an operator or labourer to observe during operation. Combi Diesel Tanks/Bowsers We’ve recently added five new Combi Diesel tanks to the fleet. These allow us to store both Gas Oil and AdBlue giving operators easy access to both when filling machines. We split the delivery into static tanks and site towable bowsers for flexibility. Rotair Compressors Another five 2 tool Rotair Compressors purchased and put out straight to work. Good solid compressors. Vans Thirteen new vans have arrived in the last six months. These have been split between Peugeot Partner Vans and Vauxhall Corsa Vans. All vans limited to 70mph reaffirming our commitment to road safety. We have also added to the fleet, seven E-CAT 4’s complete with Depth Control, five Rugby 810 Lasers, five Pipe Lasers, eight Kerb Lifters, four Stihl Discutters, two Tip Skips, Fork Extensions, Machine Forks and a Gas Detector.
