Terence Labuschagne won the Collaboration award for his close working relationship with Skanska’s Planners. The award for showing Expertise went to Cosmin Corman. He made adjustments to a template for our Solicitors which our system and our IT Company were unable to do. Dominic Davison and Bob Perfect both won the Teamwork award. Dominic received great feedback from a Natta client for his work on a project in Oxford. They commented, “I think it is really good practice and backs up your safe system of work, as per RAMS. This gives the opportunity to identify foreseeable risk and demonstrates competency and pro-active monitoring as a trade contractor. I really like the fact you are doing this, and think it is a credit to the way you and your team are managing your works to allow safe execution.” Bob also won for this category. Following an incident with a machine operator on site at Milton Keynes, Bob noticed that the Tipper Lorries were backing up. He took it upon himself to operate the Excavator and also load the Lorries to help keep the site clear. Dave Carter demonstrated Integrity by being diligent towards our cleaning screener. Quality was awarded to Ermin Mema. He placed the drainage through a river, controlled the water, which created a stable platform and completed the run. Lastly, Marc Phillips showed Sustainability. He demonstrated an efficient use of plant. He loaded dumpers for pipework operation for a short duration whilst there was only one excavator on site. October LOVE Award Winners Greg Walter was awarded for showing Integrity at our Worthy Down site by managing the snagging operations and resolving issues with our Client Skanska in a professional manner. The Quality award went to Florin Bufanu and also Morris Micah. Florin was awarded for his high standard of finishing work at our project in Northampton. He also received positive feedback from our Client, Avery Healthcare, for the quality of his work. Morris also won in this category for checking and monitoring pipe-laying activities at our Eastleigh site. From our Head Office, Charlotte Hamer won the Expertise award. She scored fantastically high on her first accounts exam. This is a perfect reflection on how far she’s come in such a short space of time since she joined the Finance team. A colleague commented, ‘’She’ll be teaching the rest of us before long at this rate!’’. Our Innovation award went to Barry Davis for his idea of a £20 monthly award to the driver of the van kept in the best condition. The award for Teamwork to Michael Goff and Carika Behounek for their help at the Care Show. They helped to build the stand, they lugged all the furniture in and out and displayed a great positive mental attitude throughout. Jo Whelan commented, “They were a pleasure to work with at the show, all round team players. They went above and beyond the call of duty to help make it a success!” Lastly, Mario Hazizi and Dragos Bucataru demonstrated Collaboration for their contribution at our Northampton project, where Natta are building a new care home. Their collaborative efforts as handymen enabled them to get the job done on time and to a level of very good quality. Some of their detailed work includes fireplaces, pre-cast coving columns and radius walls. November LOVE Award Winners November’s award for Safety went to Dominic Davison. Natta are undertaking a Zoology project at Oxford University and Dominic’s attention to detail was recognised by our client’s Safety Advisor. This control has allowed the team on site to go on and perform to a very high standard. From our Buying Department at HQ, Colin Shannan and Tim Hayward received the award for Integrity. They saved Natta over £4,000 by stopping an overspend on a clothing order going to site that would have not been picked up elsewhere. The Teamwork award went to Sue Hardy. A colleague commented, “She does a great job of organising the Christmas raffle every year. She is always organising and coordinating social events to get people together; always willing to help if anybody needs it. Happy and helpful member of staff.” Michelle Arnould won Collaboration. This is in recognition of all her help on our internal CRM and Document Repository System, Union Square. Michelle also assists sites with all the third party permits and applications. Quality this month was awarded to two employees: Ion Popovici received it for achieving high productivity while still achieving exemplary quality at our Oxford project. This quote is from Chris Farr, Area Manager and taken from the Building Control records at Oxford. He wrote, “It was good to meet you on site and see the current extent of the works. May I just say how impressed I was with the clean condition of what is a confined site, and the standard of workmanship of the Groundworkers. Despite the loose nature of the soil, they had managed to keep the trenches clean, to allow them to install the reinforcing cages without having to keep clearing out fallen spoil. Furthermore, it was very encouraging that I didn’t need to get them to add additional chairs/spacers to the steelwork to ensure a consistent cover to all of the reinforcement, as what was provided was more than adequate. On some of the trenches where they had installed the lightweight cellular shuttering, and backfilled the voids, it was pleasing to see that there was no ingress of soil into the prepared RC beam.” Matilde De la Plaza, working at our site in Arborfield for Crest Nicholson, also received the Quality award. Matilde was praised for the way that she has settled into the Arborfield project. A colleague commented, “She has picked up all the setting out processes that I have taught her. Also her enthusiasm for the project is to be commended. The standard of her work is very high with zero mistakes so far.” Alberto Gomez, Dragos Bucataru, Florin Bufanu, Mario Hazizi and Nick Terence Labuschagne, Cosmin Corman and Bob Perfect Barry Davis, Charlotte Hamer, Michael Goff and Carika Behounek Tim Hayward, Sue Hardy, Michelle Arnould and Colin Shannan
