Overview:
Early development Installation of a primary link road to enable the re-development of an MoD barracks into a large scale residential development.
Scope of Works:
The project has extensive section 278 work requirements along with interface management of the various stakeholders and contractors including the council, UKPN, SSE, Thames Water and other contractors and developers.
All of the section 38 and 278 roads and associated drainage is built to adoptable standards with Natta ensuring that all construction activities are approved and signed off. The design and build project also required Natta to undertake demolition works along with extensive cut and fill earthworks and associated piled retaining walls.
Extensive earthworks profiling was required across the development, including 45,000m³ of earthworks cut and fill and considerable remediation requirements to avoid disposal off-site.
We have subsequently been awarded contracts for public parks, gabion wall feature areas and further distributer roads with associated drainage.
