Natta is delighted to announce the LOVE Award (‘Live Our Values Everyday’) Winners for October 2019.
The Safety award went to Gabriel Cruz, Xhavit Dauti and Katarzyna Krysiuk. Gabriel from our Arborfield site won for his safety efforts on site. When assisting with planning of works he always has safety in mind and ensures the works are completed safely. He also raises any concerns where he feels that this isn’t being achieved. Xhavit based at our Barnet project won for standing his ground and intervening on a safety issue which posed a concern on site. He also raised the issue with the management team to make sure the lifting wouldn’t be approved until safe.

John Gormley, Ashley Bartlett and Simon King took the Expertise award.
John and Ashley from our Plant Department were awarded for their efforts regarding the migration to the new Coins accounting system. They have been sorting through the register of almost 3000 assets to get it tidy and ready. Simon King won for his help in writing an ‘Extension of Time’ letter. A colleague commented, “Simon has great knowledge of JCT contracts and clauses and was very helpful to his fellow surveyors.”
Ken Mulholland also from our Head Office was awarded the Collaboration award.
A colleague mentioned, “Ken continually goes out of his way to assist where possible and ensures that his knowledge is passed down. Never one to take shortcuts, Ken frequently reminds us of the issues that can arise when a corner is cut or a lack of information is present.”

Our Quality award went to Claire Wolfe.
Claire based at our Head Office was fantastic at getting everything organised for Rough Runner which took place on 6th October for Rain .
The Teamwork award went to Will Moir and Gaz Dauto.
Will at Uxbridge ensured a successful handover of a series of plots after we were given limited time. Natta was the only contractor to complete the works on time whilst being delayed in starting. Gaz at our Luton project also won in the category. A colleague commented, “Since I started on-site, it was clear that Gaz was already taking great care of the site. He took it upon himself to let me progressively take the job over. It resulted in one of the smoothest transitions I’ve ever had, thanks!”

The award for Integrity went to Henry Carter, Oliver Fleischl and Alexundru Tapelea.
Henry won for his great efforts representing Natta at the annual Emergency Services Day in Arborfield. A colleague mentioned, “Henry spent the day fielding questions from inquisitive children (and parents) with real enthusiasm and pride for what he does. The children also enjoyed ‘being a digger driver’ for 5 minutes and in particular they enjoyed chatting with builder Henry.” Oliver also took the award for his consistency when delivering toolbox talks. He gets the full attention and engagement of all Operatives even when needing to cover some topics that are not the easiest to present. Alexundru was awarded for taking on a section of works with no time to get familiar with the works and kept our client happy.
Lastly, the Innovation award went to Gintautas Rimkus.
Gintautas took the award for his eagerness to learn and help on site. A colleague commented, “Since he arrived in Barnet, Gintautas has been eager to help on every tricky task that we need to deliver.”
