Golf_Day_cheque_presentations

Over the last week, we have been busy visiting our 3 nominated charities: Rainbow Trust Children’s CharityThe Royal Marsden Cancer Charity, and Brightwells Gostrey Centre to present them with their cheques from the proceeds of our Natta Group Annual Golf Day.

In total our Golf Day raised a massive £21,450; therefore, each charity was presented with a cheque for £7,150.

Rainbow Trust Children’s Charity
Rainbow Trust supports families who have a child aged 0-18 years with a life-threatening or terminal illness who need the bespoke support they can provide. There are an estimated 49,000 children and young people living in the UK with a life-limiting or life-threatening condition who may require palliative care. Some of the support services provided include Families supported across the UK, Sibling Support, Home Support, Hospital Support, and Bereavement Support. John Murphy recently presented a cheque to Louise Bingham, Corporate Partnerships Manager alongside Charlotte Hamer and Iona Huckle who assisted at this year’s annual Golf Day.

The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity
This donation will go towards the purchase of an ECHO Machine and TOE Probe—Heart Ultrasound for The Royal Marsden in Chelsea.  John Murphy presented the cheque to Tammy Savill, she noted, “Thank you again for your continued support of The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity. I look forward to being able to update you in the new year with our next very exciting project!”

Brightwells Gostrey Centre
Brightwells Gostrey Centre is a local charity that we support. Our donation will ensure that our local elderly community has somewhere to go for a hot meal, company, and support if needed. If required the charity runs a door to door transport service. The charity also offers a real range of classes from ceramic painting, singing and fitness classes. There is something for everyone to enjoy. They are also trying to tackle the rising Dementia crisis; they have found that within our immediate area alone there are nearly 1,500 people affected. There is also a proven link between loneliness and how this impacts the condition and this is something they are trying to change. John Murphy presented the cheque to Manager Maggie Groves, who has run the centre for over 20 years.

All of the above donations were raised during our 2019 Natta Group Annual Charity Golf Day.

A big thank you to all those who attended and a special thanks to all our clients and suppliers for their donations without who the Golf Day would not be possible. Natta is extremely grateful to all of you for giving so much to make this event a success. We look forward to 2020!
