Natta completes the new East Bridgford Garden Centre in Nottingham

At the end of March, Natta handed over the new Bridgford Garden Centre to clients Bridgford Garden Centre and Blue Diamond.

This film was made in the run-up to the store’s grand opening held on March 23rd. As the Main Contractor, this is our third Garden Centre project to date. It showcases Natta’s shell and core capabilities whilst also demonstrating our proven track record in delivering fast-track projects.

Matt Sainty, Commercial Director said, “We are very proud of this 7000m² of new Garden Centre. It is one of Natta’s largest Superstructure builds to date. With one of the worst winters on record, it proved challenging at times. We got it over the line, on time and on budget.”

The Project

Our Contract was to Design and Build a new 7000m² Garden Centre adjacent to an existing, much smaller Garden Centre.

The scope included the site clearance, cut and fill, carparks, services, drainage, foundations, floor slabs, the steel frame cladding and roof both standard and Polycarbonate panels. The project also required an overhead HV diversion and a new sub-station, air source heating system, PV panels and new section S278 entrance junction, together with boundary fencing and lighting.

This fast-track programme saw the store ready for fit out in 8 months. The full handover of the new store was completed within 12 months.
