Natta awarded Bronze for Considerate Constructors Scheme
We are delighted to announce that Natta has been awarded Bronze for the Considerate Constructors Scheme 2020 National Site Awards. This award was given for our recently completed project in Copthorne for St Modwen Strategic Land and Regeneration.
The Considerate Constructors Scheme aims to raise standards within the construction industry by encouraging companies to work beyond statutory requirements. It does so by committing those registered with the Scheme to follow their Code of Considerate Practice. This includes – caring about their site’s appearance, respecting the community, protecting the environment, securing everyone’s safety and valuing their workforce. This, in turn, can have a positive impact on the image of the industry by presenting efficiency and awareness.
Receiving this award shows that the project team at Copthorne have continuously adhered to the Scheme’s Code of Considerate Practice. It also demonstrates the high level of commitment in raising the standards of consideration towards the local community and environment.
Construction Director, John Dunwoody, commented, “To be presented with a national award by Considerate Constructors is a great honour and testament to the community liaison conducted by the project team. It is great to be recognised formally for the innovative ideas used to engage local stakeholders and charities and leaving a positive legacy. Thank you to all of those involved for your efforts in making this happen, it is really appreciated. Congratulations to you all.”
A huge congratulations to all of the Natta Team involved in this project and their assistance in achieving this award.
