LOVE Awards winners for July
Natta is pleased to announce the LOVE Award (‘Live Our ValuesEveryday’) winners for July 2017.
In July, the Safety award went to Henry Carter at our Daedalus site. Henry consistently works in a safe manner, always clean and tidy and to a very good standard; leading other less experienced operatives by his work ethic. He is also the first to voice any concerns for safety that he sees on site.
Expertise was awarded to Steve Drake, due to carrying out the induction of 8 Groundworker Trainees at Longcross. He planned their day with proper support and training; while ensuring that they could learn from his expertise in the Groundworker role.
Ronnie Calahane was awarded for showing Integrity. Ronnie organised and galvanised a team from Natta to enter the ‘Survival of the Fittest’ to support one of our sponsored charities – Rainbow Trust. As well as liaising directly with Rainbow Trust, the Natta team and Marketing Department, he also brought in a significant amount of the £3,486 funds raised. In addition, this is the 4th year that Ronnie has championed this or a similar event.
Quality for the site setup at our Luton project went to Lucas Whitworth.
Gwyn McGrath and Albert Mina won Innovation for designing and also creating desktop boxes for DSE equipment from recycled wood.
Rhys Godden, Magnus Alestrand, Terence Labschagne, Simon King, Andrew Skinner, Ronnie Cahalane, Claire Wolfe and John Gormley aka Team Natta were awarded for their Teamwork. Their efforts in the ‘Survival of the Fittest’ event at Wembley Stadium raised £3,486 of sponsorship for the Rainbow Trust.
Becky Davies and Angela Gardner showed Collaboration with the sites. They ensured that all the Groundworker Trainees were appointed a mentor, travelled to and from site and were also inducted into the company effectively.
Lastly, Carole Gamroth organised efficient photocopiers that will reduce paper and cartridge wastage showing Sustainability.
Well done all, keep up the good work.
