OVERVIEW

This project involved the redevelopment of an unused farm shed, transforming it into 3 spacious and modern, barn style houses as part of a housing development. In addition, we carried out the full construction of two new-builds, creating a collection of five high-quality properties in the picturesque countryside of Egbury.

SCOPE OF WORKS

The scope of work for this housing development included the complete demolition of the existing structures, followed by the groundworks to prepare the site for construction. Works also included the full build delivery of 2 new residential units. In addition, we re-constructed a dilapidated barn, preserving its original character, and refurbished the existing stone barn to create a unique, luxurious home.

Overall, the completed development consists of 5 properties; 3 four-bedroom houses, 1 two-bedroom house and 1 three-bedroom house. The finished design retains key materials such as the existing slate roofing, brick/flint and timber boarding. This is to keep the look of the properties in keeping with the surroundings. Additionally, these elements were complemented by the addition of modern glazing and high-quality, internal fittings.

Each property has a private garden and they have access to a shared area for refuse and recycling storage. There is a private courtyard for parking with at least two parking spaces per property and the facility for EV charging. All of the properties have been finished to a high standard. Complemented, by the breath-taking and expansive views of the surrounding countryside. Therefore, enhancing the appeal of this rural housing development. Importantly, this development is part of The New Homes Group‘s assisted moving scheme.
