Natta's Nominated Charities

For several years Natta has been supporting 3 charities that are close to our hearts. We support 2 National Charities, The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity and the Rainbow Trust Children's Charity. The Brightwells Gostrey Center , an elderly day care center in Farnham, Surrey is Natta's nominated Local Charity.
The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity

Registered Charity No. 1095197

We have been actively supporting their Oak Center for Children and Young People for several years and to date the Natta Group has raised over £38,000 which includes £5,436 raised from our annual Charity Golf Day in June 2017. Last year we visited them to present our cheque to them and had the priviledge of having a guided tour of the Oak Center.

The new Oak Center opened in 2011. The Royal Marsden’s vision is to be Europe’s leading centre for children and young people and the world leader in paediatric drug development. To turn this vision into a reality, the hospital has expanded its existing children’s unit to create a new state-of-the-art centre. The Centre is the most advanced of its kind in the country. There is expanded day care and out patient services, as well as a brand new age-appropriate inpatient accommodation for children and teenagers which includes a schoolroom on each floor, play rooms for the younger patients, a chill out zone and an outdoor roof terrace.

The Centre also has the only facility in the UK dedicated to the early clinical evaluation of new therapies for childhood cancers.

Rainbow Trust Children's Charity

Registered Charity No. 1070532

Natta started supporting Rainbow Trust in 2012. This year we have raised £5,436 from our golf day and a team from Natta are embarking on Survival of the Fittest in July. We also contribute £1 to the Rainbow Trust for each Observation Card that is filled iin on site and for suggestions that are filled out and posted in our 'Suggestion Box' at Natta HQ.

Family support lies at the heart of all Rainbow Trust does.

They care for families who have a child with a life threatening or terminal illness, providing bespoke emotional and practical support for the whole family, whenever and wherever it is needed. Today they are the only organisation that provides support directly to the whole family, helping them to keep hold of a normal life as much as possible.

Rainbow Trust has nine teams of Family Support Workers who are there to help 24 hours a day from diagnosis, through treatment, and for some, through bereavement and beyond. They commented, "We stay for as long as the family needs us."

Brightwells Gostrey Center

Registered Charity No. 1053876

We have been supporting Brightwells for the last 6 years and this year are presenting them also with a cheque for £5,436 from the proceeds of Charity Golf Day. We help this worthwhile charity in a bid to ensure that our local elderly community has somewhere to go for a hot meal, company and support if they need it.

The Brightwells Gostrey Centre is a Community Centre which offers a warm welcome for the older people of Farnham each weekday, where they can meet or make friends, enjoy a freshly cooked lunch at a reasonable price, take part in a range of social, cultural and health promoting activities such as keep fit and computer lessons, and benefit from a range of services including bathing, hairdressing and chiropody.

Sunday lunch is offered once a month, and Brightwell's offer a Xmas Day lunch for those that live alone. During the summer months everyone can enjoy a regular outing to various seaside resorts and other places of interest, and they run weekly shopping trips and an accompanied summer holiday. The Centre offers a door to door transport service picking people up from their homes in the morning and returning them in the afternoon. The building is owned by Waverley Borough Council but furnished by Centre funds.
